This 36 Year Old Edition is an exceptional dram which is creamy and fruity on the nose, with aromas of passionfruit layered with white chocolate and hints of Oloroso sherry. A rich sweetness develops on the palate with tones of dark fruit, raspberry coulis, blackcurrant jam and a burst of tangerine which is preceded by cinnamon and coconut. The depth of this whisky is punctuated by a round finish with delicate preserved fruits. A very special dram indeed.
Gently matured in a combination of first fill Spanish oloroso sherry butts and traditional oak casks for over thirty six years.
Natural colour, cask strength, and non chill filtered.
One of only 1200 bottles.
