Behind Torabhaig Distillery is the Sound of Sleat. A narrow, powerful strip of sea dividing Skye and the mainland. Called Linne Shlèite in Gaelic. And what they've called their latest release. It is the fourth chapter of their Legacy Series, documenting the evolution of their Torabhaig 'house style'.
This single malt whisky is made using a mix of concerto and laureate malted barley with an in-grain phenols level of 78+PPM and in-glass phenols level of 14.5PPM. It is fermented with pinnacle MG+ yeast and aged solely in Quercus Alba American Oak. Itr is bottled at 46% abv with no chill-filtering or colouring.
