Tormore 2002 Private Collection Guigal Cote Rotie - 45%
Details
Private Collection is a range of single malt whiskies personally selected by the Directors of Gordon & MacPhail. Wood finishes are selected to highlight how different maturation in wine casks can change and compliment Single Malts.
Tormore Distillery was founded in 1958 and was the first new distillery to be built in Speyside during the 20th century. Tormore was intended to be a ‘showpiece’; the distillery has crisp white buildings with ornate features, a fountain, a curling lake and decorative landscaping. In the 1970’s the numbers of stills was increased from four to eight.
Cask Type(s): First fill bourbon finished in Coté Rôtie wine casks.
