Guadeloupe 2014 Rum - Transcontinental Rum Line
Details
Transcontinental Rum Line is inspired by historic voyages of rum casks between the New World and the Old Continent. Since the origins of its production, the rum has been transported to Europe, for maritime, economic and technical reasons.
Maritimes, because it allowed to avoid drinking stagnant water during long crossings.
Economical, since aged rum in a continental climate evaporates less quickly and matures more slowly.
Technical, because the variety of barrels available and the unquestionable know-how of the cognac and Scottish cellar masters made it possible to obtain unique expressions. For the sake of transparency, each bottling of the series displays its proportion of aging in continental climate.
This bottling was mysteriously distilled somewhere in Guadeloupe.
10% aged in continental weather
Distilled in 2014 - Bottled in 2017.
