The nose has chocolate ganache, walnut cake, chestnuts roasting over coals, old metal toolboxes, oranges, rum and a drop of Worcestershire sauce.
The palate is huge – with Dundee cake, ristretto, parsley oil, black cherry, treacle toffee and chocolate orange.

This is undisclosed single malt from a well-known family-owned distillery *taps side of nose*. Super-darkly sherried and perfect for the season!
The nose has chocolate ganache, walnut cake, chestnuts roasting over coals, old metal toolboxes, oranges, rum and a drop of Worcestershire sauce. The palate is huge – with Dundee cake, ristretto, parsley oil, black cherry, treacle toffee and chocolate orange.
A little dilution makes the whisky surprisingly clean and fruity, with apple pie, orange oil, toffee pennies, hazelnuts and menthol popping up.
This oloroso hogshead produced 321 bottles at a cask strength of 55.8%
