Waterford Lakefield 1.1, Irish Single Malt Whisky

A brand new Waterford Single Farm Origin 1.1 release, from Lakefield.

Waterford Lakefield 1.1 is the first release from the 2016 Lakefield farm harvest, where farmer Seamus Duggan consistently produces barley of exceptional quality.

Made entirely from Irish Irina malted barley which has been grown on the Duggan's Co. Laois farm, this whisky has been aged for over 3 years and 7 months in multiple cask types including first-fill, virgin US and French oak.

Long fermentation and slow double distillation creates and impactful flavour, and the texture is maximised by no chill filtration or additional colouring.

A rich texture with a long and gentle finish. Notes of baking bread, chocolate, warm custard, rhubarb and apple tart and clove, this whisky is complex and fruity.
