The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character.
Bottled a parcel of several single casks at a time, each individual series under their ‘Private Cellars Selection’ label is studiously chosen to deliver a wide spectrum of natural colour, aroma and flavour.
This whisky was aged for 21 years in an American Oak Hogshead, distilled in March 1999 and bottled in August 2020. This whisky is a ‘tea-spooned’ malt, with the vast majority of which is a well-known Highland Single Malt. Characteristically, the whisky displays notes of citrus peel, digestive biscuits and stone fruits.
