This is Whisky Sponge Edition No.83, it’s a single refill hogshead of 17 year old ‘Westport’ distilled in 2006 and bottled at 17 years of age and a slightly reduced ABV of 55%.
They've labelled this as a ‘blended malt’ however, they feel it is rather obvious which distillery this teaspoon-tinkered cask is from – the one prowled by Jill Bumsden and riddled with Giraffes.
We hope you enjoy this rather gorgeous and nicely mature example of Glensporrangie, it tastes like old jokes, dry patter and mysterious kilts aged in dunnage warehouses.
