White Heather 21 Year Old

As Scottish legend has it, the elusive white heather brings good fortune to all who find it. But by their reckoning, if you're holding this bottle , you're already one of the lucky ones; for blends of this quality are as rare as their namesake.

With a high malt content and aged GlenAllachie as part of the blend, this limited release has been hand crafted by master blender, Billy Walker, to create a full bodied whisky with the perfect balance of sweet and gentle peat. Once blended, the whisky was filled to specially selected European and American oak casks and laid down at GlenAllachie distillery for over a year to rest and marry, deepening the flavour profile.

Natural colour. Non chill filtered.

Colour: Natural gold-bronze.

Nose: Beautifully soft background with heather honey, butterscotch, peat reek and hints of tannins.

Taste: Rich notes of heather honey, butterscotch, orange peel and soft tannins, all in balance with a wonderful presence of peat and smoke.
