The Tasting Notes
On the nose, soft sherry sweetness melds with figs and raisins. There’s a lovely hint of vanilla and oak present too.
The depth of flavour is tremendous. Bold chocolate and dark fruit flavours abound, with overtones of caramel and vanilla, all accompanied by gentle hints of nutmeg and oak smoke.
Silky tannins make for a beautifully textured finish; there’s a residual sweetness with dried fruit and caramel flavours lingering to the very end.

As one of the proud main sponsors, Wolfburn were honoured to stand alongside and support the annual event once again. The Games featured a vibrant array of traditional events, including the ever-popular tug o’ war, caber tossing, massed pipe bands, Highland dancing, track events, feats of strength, novelty races and the odd special guest – making it a true highlight of the Caithness calendar.
A few bottles from the day still remain – a rare chance to take home a piece of the Games.
