Bowmore 2015 11 Year Old, Little Brown Dog

Distilled in 2015 and bottled by Little Brown Dog, this 11 year old Bowmore was matured in a single bourbon barrel selected for its particularly distinctive character.

While the whisky originated from a parcel that had been vatted before cask filling, this individual barrel stood apart from the rest and was bottled separately to preserve its unique personality. Alongside Bowmore’s gentle peat smoke and soft texture, the whisky developed notes of ripe peach and an intriguingly savoury finish that the team likened to roast chicken crisps.

That unusual flavour profile inspired the label design, which playfully echoes a classic packet of roast chicken crisps. To make sure this memorable cask wasn't forgotten, the team even drew a roast chicken on the cask itself while it matured in the warehouse.
