Bowmore 21 Year Old

An official vintage bottling of Bowmore 21 Year Old, released around the turn of the millennium in the brand’s classic old-style bottle with its distinctive cream label.

These early editions, recognisable by the cream stripe on the capsule, were primarily distilled in the late 1970s, although some later batches are thought to include a portion of early 1980s spirit that is sometimes noted for its subtle lavender-like character. Matured with a pronounced sherry influence, these whiskies deliver impressive depth and flavour intensity at 43% ABV.

As with many older releases from Bowmore Distillery, there is some natural batch variation. The earliest bottlings are widely regarded as exemplary examples of richly sherried, old-school Bowmore, while certain later editions display a slightly more perfumed style.
