Glen Garioch 1998 27 Year Old, Chorlton Whisky
The Tasting Notes
The nose is really quite complex, with baled hay, milk chocolate, gloopy olive oil, hazelnuts, dried honey and lemon jelly. Some excellent flashes of tropical fruit emerge if you give it a few minutes in the glass.
The palate is big, waxy and slightly tarry, with lemon drops, eucalyptus, peach crumble and resin, developing on dark chocolate, rosemary and green fruits.
