An immediately rich and pretty seductive sherry profile, loads of easy, plush dark fruits in the form of dates, prunes soaked in Armagnac, sultanas and fig molasses—also, a little dark chocolate and tobacco.
Similar focus on luscious dark fruit, soft wood spices, cedar, tiny gamey touches and notes of plum wine, aniseed and camphor.
Long, on pine wood resins, unlit cigars, rancio, woodruff, dark chocolate and walnut wine.

Distilled in 2003, this 22 Year Old Glen Grant from Decadent Drams is a beautifully mature Speyside single malt that showcases the benefits of patient, carefully judged cask management.
Initially matured for 19 years in a refill hogshead, the whisky was then transferred to a first fill sherry hogshead for just over three years. This gentle finishing period adds layers of dark fruit, warming spice and rich sweetness while preserving Glen Grant's naturally elegant, fruity distillery character.
The result is a wonderfully balanced old-school Speysider, combining polished oak, dried fruits, soft nuttiness and syrupy sweetness with the distillery's signature refinement. Rich yet poised, it is a whisky that rewards slow appreciation.
