With just 1,200 residents, Rothes is also home to four distilleries who produce a combined 18 million litres of Scotch whisky! They have nurtured this fruity spirit from Glen Spey Distillery in a stunning Tawny Port barrique from their cask partners, Caves de Murca.
During the final 4 and a half years of maturation, this elegant spirit has combined powerfully with the authentic Tawny Port cask, resulting in an indulgent style of whisky to sip amidst the beautiful arrival of autumn - a bold example of what can be achieved with the art of maturation.
