This gorgeous ruby red malt was initially aged for ten years in American Oak Barrels before being re-racked into Ruby Port Pipes. The secondary maturation period further develops the depth of flavour and complexity, as well as bestowing a vibrant, rich colour.
Bottled at 48%, with no added colouring and unchilfiltered for flavour.

TASTING NOTES
COLOUR: Ruby Blush.
NOSE: Lashings of heather honey, grape must, treacle, bananas and ginger.
TASTE: Heather honey, toffee, damsons and grape must, fused with orange peel and ginger.
