Glenallachie 2014 9YO, Murray McDavid Oloroso Cask #9900113

The beautifully sherries drams from Glenallachie Distillery are quickly attracting a cult-like status amongst whisky lovers. Murray McDavid have selected to bottle two unique examples of this stylish Speysider, both completely matured in different styles of Sherry cask; here, they present the classic influences of Oloroso.

As clear new make spirit, this Glenallachie was filled into a dry wine cask from Jerez. This viscous spirit has developed an alluring, deep copper tone and moreish spices have woven beautifully into this juicy single malt – a magical marriage of Spain and Speyside.
