Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky Limited Edition

Ichiro’s Malt & Grain World Blended Whisky Limited Edition is a limited-edition blended whisky, created by Ichiro Akuto, owner of the famous Chichibu Distillery in Japan. In addition to whiskies from Chichibu Distillery, this blend also uses whiskies from America, Canada, Scotland and Ireland - all aged for a minimum of 10 years, to create a complex and harmonious whisky.

Whilst the heart of this whisky is from Chichibu, Ichiro wanted to incorporate other styles of whisky from all over the globe to create this incredibly elegant dram. Whiskies from Ireland give stone fruit characters, spicy notes come from Canada, sweet vanilla from America and malt character from Scotland - all blended together with the elegance and harmony expected from Japanese whiskies.

This whisky is rich and complex with notes of plums, figs and dates with a hint of sandalwood and incense. On the palate there is a decadent texture with notes of burnt sugar, toffee finishing with a subtle hint of lemon, honeysuckle and resinous pine.
