he third release in Isle of Raasay Distillery’s Oak Species Maturation Series, focusing on Quercus petraea oak sourced from the Zemplén Mountains in Hungary.
Produced using a combination of peated and unpeated Raasay spirit, matured separately before being married together. Unlike previous releases in the series, this edition was fully matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks rather than virgin oak, combining the spice of Hungarian oak with the dried fruit influence of sherry cask maturation.
