John Campbell was born and raised in Islay. It is surprising that John is the first true "Ileach" to become Distillery Manager at Laphroaig. This bottling commemorates John's 12 years at the distillery, from apprentice to Distillery Manager - being both barreled and bottled by himself. It is at full cask strength and simply barrier filtered.
