Lindores Abbey Nectere is the distillery's fully sherry-matured single malt and the latest addition to its refreshed core range.
Named after the Latin word conectere – meaning to link, bind or connect – Nectere celebrates the connection between the pioneering monks who first distilled at Lindores Abbey in 1494 and the centuries-old sherry-making traditions of Jerez. The result is a richly layered single malt that brings together history, craftsmanship and exceptional cask selection.
Matured exclusively in four different styles of sherry cask - Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado—this unique expression delivers remarkable depth and complexity. Rich dried fruits, warming spice, nutty notes and elegant sweetness combine in a beautifully balanced whisky that showcases the distinctive contribution of each cask style.
