The Tasting Notes
Nose
Vanilla butter cream, dried fruit and honey.
Palate
A creamy mouthfeel with milk chocolate, victoria sponge cake and panacotta. Sweet oranges and sultanas accompanied by an oaky musk.
Finish
White chocolate, figs and earl grey tea.
Details
Back in 1978, this North British was distilled and racked into a 2nd fill hogshead. This spirit has typical characteristics of NB being creamy and chocolatey. However, it is also accompanied many layers of complexity - fruits, leather, and a particularly long finish for a grain.
