The Tasting Notes
Soft and inviting, opening with smooth vanilla sweetness and creamy cocoa butter. Layers of dark chocolate and malted cereal bring depth, while a gentle lift of citrus and subtle tropical notes adds brightness.
Led by clove and a hint of peppermint, gradually building into a richer spice character. Sweet notes of caramel and toffee. Redcurrant & raisin, adding a dark fruit richness. Toasted oak provides structure. Ginger emerges and carries through to the finish
Long and vibrant, where that warming ginger note continues alongside peppercorn and cinnamon spice. A return of vanilla softens the spice, leavinf a fresh, gracefully lingering and well-integrated finish.

The Distillers' Series is Torabhaig's experimental whisky range, giving the distillery's team the freedom to explore new ideas, flavours and techniques while remaining true to the island, the stills and the house style that define Torabhaig.
Iona's First Edition reflects the personal inspiration of distiller Iona, whose love of Skye's rugged landscapes, hill walks with her dog, and the simple pleasure of a dram paired with chocolate shaped this distinctive release.
Crafted using a combination of unpeated base malt and 10% chocolate malt, the whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon casks and refill sherry butts. Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added colour, it offers a unique expression of Torabhaig's innovative spirit.
