Ardbeg 1972 32 Year Old Single Cask #866
The Tasting Notes
The aroma is both rich and soft with intricately woven fruit, sweet and smoky notes. Initially there is a hint of pears, some waxiness, rich toffee apples and whispy smoky notes. This is followed by a lovely, rounded dollop of fudge and vanilla.
Creamy and richly flavoured, this single cask has a mouthfeel that is silky smooth and softly velvety.
Long, warming and complex, very Ardbeg in style, finally leaving the classic tarry linger.
