Classic notes of Ardbeg's yesteryear on the nose as mellow, rich and enticing Ardbeggian flavours mingle with dark chocolate, treacle and nutty oak.
On the palate, robust peat smoke and savoury smoky bacon meet creamy sweet vanilla, milk chocolate with the hint of sherry casks, culminating in a taste of the future... an aftertaste that is never-ending.

Released in 2015 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Ardbeg Distillery, Ardbeg Perpetuum was first unveiled during Fèis Ìle on Ardbeg's Open Day before becoming available through Ardbeg Embassies and wider release channels.
Created as a tribute to two centuries of Ardbeg whisky making, Perpetuum brings together a wide range of Ardbeg styles and ages. The recipe combines old, young and mature stocks of whisky matured in bourbon barrels, sherry casks, sherry puncheons and refill casks, reflecting the many influences that have shaped the distillery throughout its history.
A landmark bottling in Ardbeg's modern era, released to mark one of the most significant milestones in the distillery's story.
