Details
Bruichladdich 10 Year Old The Biodynamic Project is a pioneering limited edition that explores the relationship between regenerative farming and whisky making. Produced using barley grown at the carbon-negative Yatesbury House Farm, this is regarded as the world's first biodynamic Scotch whisky release.
Distilled from biodynamically farmed barley, the whisky reflects Bruichladdich's commitment to provenance and sustainability. Matured for 10 years, it reveals aromas of peach, vanilla custard and candied orange, leading to a rich, succulent palate of caramel chocolate and gentle oak. With a splash of water, floral notes of honeysuckle, rose and geranium emerge, while the long finish brings citrus, sea air, toffee and lingering malt sweetness.
Originally conceived as one of Head Distiller Adam Hannett's experimental warehouse projects, The Biodynamic Project follows the acclaimed Ternary Project series. Produced in a limited run of just 5,000 bottles, it was released exclusively through Bruichladdich Distillery.
