Details
Crafted using malted barley peated to 50ppm with mainland peat from Aberdeenshire, this Glasgow 1770 single malt was matured in virgin American white oak casks before a finishing period of over three years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
Batch 03 is created from a vatting of three selected hogsheads, with a limited outturn of 1,000 bottles. Bottled at cask strength, this release highlights the distillery’s heavily peated style alongside rich sherry cask influence.
