Distilled in 2009, this heavily peated Ledaig single malt was given a four year finishing period in red wine barriques from Quinta dos Frades in Portugal’s Douro Valley.
The combination of smoky island spirit and red wine cask influence creates a whisky with added fruit depth alongside Ledaig’s distinctive peat character.
