Details
Distilled in the Edinburgh area in 1996, this 30-year-old single grain whisky takes its label inspiration from Trainspotting, released the same year. The Little Brown Dog team’s humour is reflected in the label’s playful theme, while the whisky itself has spent its full maturation in a Colheita Port pipe.
The extended maturation brings an extra layer of red fruit, with the spirit and wood remaining remarkably well balanced. Little Brown Dog favour grain whiskies with age, and this cask makes a compelling case for single grain whisky.
