On October 14th, 1922, the first installment in a "series of illustrated articles of the Distilleries of Scotland, Ireland and England" was published. Over the following seven years, the series documented 124 distilleries and featured more than 640 photographs.

This remarkable body of work was largely forgotten for a century, until James Eadie Ltd revived it with the publication of The Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland, a special centenary edition limited to 1,000 copies.

To commemorate this rediscovery, James Eadie Ltd has launched a special range of whiskies inspired by the book. Each release features stylised label artwork by illustrator Greg Coulton, based on the original century-old photographs. The whiskies are carefully selected for bottling at just over 52% ABV, and all are presented at natural colour and without chill filtration.
