White Bowmore 1964 43 Year Old
The Tasting Notes
Amazing aromas of Gallia melon, mango and papaya.
On the palate, there are hints of mixed exotic fruits, vanilla and maple syrup with just a trace of Bowmore peat smoke.
The finish is surprisingly clean and incredibly long.
Details
White Bowmore 1964 43 Year Old is the second release in an extraordinary trilogy of exceptionally aged Bowmore single malts, showcasing the influence of long maturation in bourbon oak.
Distilled on 5th November 1964, the spirit was filled into six bourbon casks and matured for over 43 years in Bowmore's legendary No. 1 Vaults. During its extended maturation, the bourbon oak imparted delicate vanilla sweetness and refined fruity character while allowing Bowmore's elegant Islay style to shine through.
Drawn from just six casks, only 732 bottles were produced, making this a highly sought-after collectible from one of Scotland's most iconic distilleries.
