The gathering together of three different cask cask types is what makes Ardbeg An Oa unique.
The three cask types married together are: Pedro Ximenez casks deliver sweetness. Virgin charred oak casks bring spiciness. Ex-Bourbon casks in high proportion give an even more intense hallmark Ardbeg flavour profile.
These casks are brought together in the Gathering Room, newly-created at the Distillery, in a specially designed gathering vat.
Ideally paired with Islay Chocolate from Chocisky.
