Ardbeg Day Committee Release, Feis Ile 2012

Released for Fèis Ìle 2012, this special Committee Release marked the inaugural Ardbeg Day bottling.

Created by marrying together two distinct styles of Ardbeg, the whisky combines a sweeter, spicier character with a deeper, more powerful and botanical expression of the distillery's spirit. The two components were brought together for six months in refill sherry butts, allowing the contrasting elements to integrate and create a harmonious balance of sweetness, spice and smoke.

A significant release in Ardbeg’s history, celebrating the first Ardbeg Day at Islay’s famous whisky festival.
