Nose

White wine, soy glaze, gosseberry, jam tart, white chocolate, raspberry, marzipan/sliced almond.

Palate

Lemon sherbet, sprite, icing sugar, apricot jam, hardboiled sweets, dulce de leche, hazelnut, tablet.

Finish

Creamy, voluptuous, long but assertive finish.

Details

Ardnamurchan Heritage Barley, Bourbon Cask 2026 Release is made using 100% Golden Promise barley and is completely unpeated. Following distillation, the whisky was matured entirely in ex-bourbon barrels in Ardnamurchan’s dunnage warehouses.

Bottled at natural cask strength, this release is one of a pair of 2026 Heritage Barley expressions, with the other matured entirely in ex-sherry casks.
