Bruichladdich The Ternary Project is the first release in the distillery's experimental small-batch series, showcasing the creative freedom of Head Distiller Adam Hannett and his team.
Drawn from the distillery's sample room, this limited edition celebrates a time when Bruichladdich challenged convention by producing multiple distinct spirit styles rather than a single house style. The whisky brings together three vintages of Bruichladdich's most recognised single malts—Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore—each matured across three cask types: ex-sherry, ex-bourbon and ex-wine.
The carefully constructed cask recipes and extended marrying period create a whisky of remarkable complexity, where the elegant fruitiness of Bruichladdich, the smoky character of Port Charlotte and the powerful peat of Octomore combine in perfect harmony.
