Distilled in 2008, this 11 year old Bunnahabhain has been fully matured in former Manzanilla sherry casks for its entire maturation.
Bunnahabhain has produced single malt whisky at its coastal distillery since 1881, with maritime conditions influencing the spirit. Manzanilla sherry is also produced in coastal environments, and these casks contribute notes of salted caramel alongside oak, nuts and fruit.
