Details
The Harpy’s Tale is the first release in Ardbeg's Anthology series, a collection of limited editions released over three years and featuring increasingly older whiskies, from 13 to 15 years of age.
The Anthology series explores a trio of rare and unusual Ardbeg expressions, created through experimental maturations that combine the distillery’s classic peat smoke with sweeter and more delicate influences. Each release is inspired by a mythical creature, reflecting the distinctive character of the whisky within.
As the inaugural chapter in the series, The Harpy’s Tale introduces this imaginative collection and its exploration of unique cask maturations unlike those seen in previous Ardbeg batch releases.
