Details
Released to celebrate Fèis Ìle 2007, this limited edition 16 Year Old Bunnahabhain showcases the distillery's famously gentle Islay style enhanced by the influence of a carefully selected fresh Oloroso sherry hogshead.
After 16 years maturing undisturbed in Bunnahabhain's sea-facing No. 4 warehouse, the whisky developed the rich character imparted by its hand-selected sherry cask. The Oloroso oak adds layers of sweet fruit, richness and depth while complementing the distillery's naturally refined spirit. Drawn from the cask with its natural colour intact, this special festival release highlights the harmony between Bunnahabhain's coastal character and classic sherry maturation.
