One of the earliest official releases under Glenmorangie following its acquisition of Ardbeg in 1997, this vintage was distilled in 1978, a year after the distillery's on-site maltings had closed.
Bottled in 1998, this sought-after release captures Ardbeg from a pivotal period in its history and has become increasingly difficult to find.
Condition report: Some creasing on the box and some light marks.
