Details
Released exclusively for Fèis Ìle 2018, this limited edition Bunnahabhain 2002 Spanish Oak Finish showcases the influence of Spanish oak on the distillery's gentle Islay spirit.
Distilled in 2002, the whisky spent its first 15 years maturing in refill whisky casks before being transferred in 2013 to Spanish Oak Gran Reserva butts. The extended finishing period allowed the casks to impart layers of ripe berry fruit, warming spice and oak while complementing Bunnahabhain's distinctive character.
